Industrial Products Distribution Group
This was a newly created appointment on behalf of a £2bn UK distributor of industrial products. The assignment was to identify and attract a suitably experienced individual who could lead the transformation to a centralised distribution model across a 1,000+, multi-branded branch network. In addition to the technical requirements of the role, there was a significant leadership challenge within what had hitherto been a branch-driven operation.
The successful appointment was made from a shortlist that was primarily generated from the retail and FMCG sectors.
